Description: Knowing the future, you can see the paths of yourself and enemies showing where they will be in the next few seconds, visualized in the third dimension beneath the floor. Where your path collides with the path of an enemy, the future danger is highlighted while you still have time to counteract. Classic top-down style gameplay becomes a symphony of interweaving 3d paths where future events are highlighted, and players have time to change the outcomes before it’s too late. zTime (Danger Noodles!) is in early access for Windows. Play it with Oculus Rift or HTC Vive if you have one.
Review: zTime (Danger Noodles!) is an odd little arcade strategy game that is quite a clever concept. It looks OK in VR with deep 3D lines and “noddles” to avoid and at times you can get quite engrossed in it. But this is one of those games that takes a while to get into. You will need to sit down with it and play for a while before you understand not only how to play it, but to complete a level. £3.99 might not sound like much, but I still think this is overpriced and I highly suggest waiting for it to drop price in a sale before making a purchase. It’s worth playing I suppose, but its nothing special.
