Description: YUKI is a new upbeat mix of bullet-hell and roguelike game in VR! Enter a kid’s wild imagination and fly through an anime universe controlling Yuki’s action figure. Dodge bullets and obstacles, while fighting evil forces. Enjoy this new experience and one of the best games releases of 2021!
There is no learning curve with this game, you are chucked into the deep end with no build-up whatsoever and you will get frustrated quite quickly. The good news is there are only 8 levels to play and they are fairly short. For me, it was the fact that this style of game would be just as good if played on a Gear VR or 3DOF headset because there is that little VR movement needed (just a lot of hand waving). For me £15.49 is just a bit too much. It does have a touch of polish and class here, but it is nothing you haven’t seen in VR since the days of Google cardboard. If you love anime you might like this more than me, but I suggest you wait for a sale before trying it out.
