Description: YUKI is an upbeat mix of the bullet-hell and roguelike game genres in VR, set in an incredible anime universe. Step into the wild imagination of a child and fly through multidimensional worlds holding her favourite action character, Yuki. Use your hands to fly Yuki and dodge loads of bullets and obstacles that cross your path! Groove to the sound of mesmerizing music as you manoeuvre through each of the new spellbinding game levels while blasting the evil Yokaliens.
There is no learning curve with this game, you are chucked into the deep end with no build-up whatsoever and you will get frustrated quite quickly. The good news is there are only 8 levels to play and they are fairly short. For me, it was the fact that this style of game would be just as good if played on a Gear VR or 3DOF headset because there is that little VR movement needed (just a lot of hand waving). For me £15.49 is just a bit too much. It does have a touch of polish and class here, but it is nothing you haven’t seen in VR since the days of Google cardboard. If you love anime you might like this more than me, but I suggest you wait for a sale before trying it out.
