Review: Looking for a VR app to get away from it all for a while? Maybe Yorb is what you are looking for. It’s based on the Sanskrit “vayu” which is generally used in the sense of the physical air or wind, a term for “atmosphere” and that is what this app offers. It’s a kaleidoscope of colour and shapes set to a soft trance music background. While only 5-minutes long it is just long enough to take your mind away from the real world. It gives you a chance to unwind and relax. No controls needed here, just look to start and enjoy the ride.

For just a few minutes, Yorb really does take you away from it all on a rhythm fluid trip that looks much like a crazy kaleidoscopic. I would have loved to be able to play my own music with this, but what there is kept me amused for the 5-minute journey. It doesn’t cost much and indeed you don’t get much, but if you want something to unwind and relax too, give this a go, you might enjoy it more than you think.
