Presentation: To be fair the XTAL 3 Virtual Reality’ certainly gives off a very premium vibe with its clean, almost Apple-inspired white outer box. Once inside you are looking at high-quality packaging foam and several boxes with all your paperwork in and leads. This is a headset that is treated with respect and the price tag certainly demands it.

Review: As I said with the other headset the only real difference between the XTAL 3 Mixed Reality and this one named the XTAL 3 Virtual Reality headset is that this headset doesn’t have the passthrough cameras. Yes, that really is the only difference as all other stats and materials are the same. These enterprise only style headsets are designed for simulators and other training purposes to give the wearer the best quality of experience they can. It might weigh a tonne, but it is also surprisingly comfortable and of course, the viewing experience is pretty high end, but certainly nothing we haven’t seen before with headsets like the Pimax 8K.
