Review: ‘X-BOOSTER’ is yet another music/rhythm game that is pretty much a clone of the many others we have already seen like Beat Saber and Synth Riders. The good news is ‘X-BOOSTER’ has a good amount of polish here and the beat mapping is mostly on point. Like the other games this is based on, it is quite physical to play and you can soon start to sweat after just a few songs. There is a good amount of songs and the gameplay is great fun, but I have to be truthful here and tell you there is nothing really new here. Sure, it’s still a great game, but it is more of the same sort of thing. Is it worth £15.49? Probably, if you are willing to play the songs over and over on the different difficulty settings, but it doesn’t;t have anywhere near the library of songs others do. But it’s hard not to love this game and I recommend it, just don’t expect anything original here, just more of the same done the right way.
