Description: Whack A Rat is fun for all ages. Pummel rats with the many types of hammers you can unlock throughout the game. Bored of the regular mode? Go to advanced mode, where you’ll have to hit the right rat according to your hammer colour. The best part is that there’s no penalty for not hitting any. You can play this game relaxingly or competitively, it’s up to you! Either way, if you love the classic game whack a mole, you’ll love this. However, I do recommend a large space to play this game.
Review: ‘Whack A Rat VR’ is pretty much what you will be expecting it to be. You whack rats that pop out of holes. They are coloured at least so you have to hit red rats with the red hammer and blue ones with the blue hammer. You can even save up and get different kinds of hammers like a meat hammer and even a fairy wand. There are also a few game modes to be enjoyed, but they are all pretty much the same thing. OK, so it’s as basic as game gets, but it could still be a laugh if it wasn’t for the very large playspace you need and the hit detection being a bit weird. If it was made a little better or was free I might have given this a silver, but I think I will stick to the bronze with the hope this gets a small amount of improvement.
