Review: Let’s face it, the Wild West style of shooter has been done a hundred ways in VR already, some of them good, some of them terrible. But West Gangs doesn’t want down the same town as all those shooters, it walks its own path and it’s all the better for it. This is essentially a quick draw game that sees you trying to kill or be killed. Making amazing use of the Gear VR motion controller this is one game that might not make the best of use of VR as a whole, but simply wouldn’t be anywhere near as good without the motion controller.

There are times that I really did feel the trembles of nervousness when it comes to the quick draw. With some fun animation, pretty good graphics and a really good challenge (if a little repetitive) to keep you amused for a while to come. Throw all that on top of the multiplayer options and you have yourself a fantastic game that doesn’t ask too much in price. A little bit more of variety in locations and adding 3 V 3 multiplayer and you will have a game that is pretty much perfect. But even as it is I would highly recommend getting it, but only if you really do think you are the fastest hand in the Wild West because to do really well in this game, you will need nothing less.
