Review: There are things to love about Wave Magic VR and things to loathe. What I especially like is the spell casting, it feels so good to pull one of them off as a fireball shoots out of your fingertips. Also some of the close combat is fun. But what I don’t like is how basic the game looks and how unfinished it feels. While £4.79 isn’t a whole lot of money I would have hoped the game looked a little more complete given it has been out for a number of years, which probably means this is little more than abandonware. I just don’t feel there is enough here to justify the full asking price, but anything half-price or under will make this game worth a look, so do keep an eye out for it in a sale.
