Description: In Wave Magic: Battle you fight off the horde of homonculi created from mages long past. Master the four elements to defeat enemies and reach farther heights in your battles. As you play you will level up to learn new spells and abilities allowing you to make more progress. Aim your spells with the Gear VR controller and take the fight to the wastelands.
Review: Wave Magic: Battle is a wave-based shooter that sees you given spells instead of guns to get rid of them. Anyone who loves dungeons and dragons will be at home here with all the fire and ice spells as well as a few other elemental magic cats to perform. You get two main spells to use, but also much more to unlock as your experience level increases. While there isn’t a whole lot to do the graphics at least look nice and the shooting part with your magic hand is pretty responsive with the Gear VR controller. If you enjoy playing early development games and don’t mind giving the developer a bit of feedback for a free game then go for it. Those looking for a magic shooter of the likes of Wands are better off simply downloading Wands!
