Review: It has to be said ‘Warplanes: WW1 Fighters’ ticks a lot of the right boxes. It is a dog-fight simulator in which you can play against friends, play with friends or just play on your own. While there are only 14 planes at the moment more is promised in the coming months. Graphically the game does look average with most of the landscapes being quite sparse, but the planes are detailed enough. But the gameplay is where this game wins. You can make things easy for beginners to play or you can take control of most of the plane, but sadly HOTAS is not supported as of yet. As long as there are other players to play against this game should still be worth a download, I just hope that player userbase doesn’t dry up too quickly.
