Description: This is not a game. This is history. Presented by Hardcore History® legendary podcaster Dan Carlin, War Remains is an immersive VR experience that transports viewers into the nightmarish hellscape of the Western Front of the First World War.
Review: I like a good old war story and ‘War Remains: Dan Carlin Presents an Immersive Memory ‘ is just that, a non-interactive experience war story that lasts for a little less than 15 minutes in total. It’s about what people would have seen or experienced during WW1 and you get to live the horrors of that in the powerful experience that is a little basic in terms of looks, but is mostly driven by the narration and sound. Asking £3.99 for this might be pushing things, but I got this in a sale fore just £2.39 and I was very happy with the experience. Just be aware that there is nothing to play here, nothing to interactive with, just great storytelling combined with VR’s ability for immersion.
