Description: Waba is an interactive video game character, empathic petting simulator, and virtual wobble pet. Waba wobbles when you touch him, and he’ll also wobble your heartstrings. Waba was developed for controller-based VR with the goal of creating a special form of interactivity and presence that can only exist within the medium of virtual reality. You can pet Waba, stretch Waba, feed Waba, put waba to sleep, and play fetch together!
Review: Waba is a cute blob-like creature and a virtual pet of sorts. You start off by donning your gloves and hatching a little egg. After a short while, your creature will hatch and the fun begins. Sadly there is no variety in your Waba and it will always be the same shape and colour. You get to do all the usual things like feed, play fetch, tickle, smooth or stroke Waba and even you even have to rock it to sleep. It’s weird, cute and I am sure some of the little ones will love it. But it does get boring for us adults VERY quickly. But it’s well animated and cute in an odd way and probably worth the money to someone needing a virtual pet.
