Description: In this game you have the opportunity to swing your racket to your heart’s content, hit the ball with all your might, and smash the tiles on the walls to pieces. Modest but pleasant graphics in a futuristic style are waiting for you. And you will definitely like the physics of interaction between rackets and balls!
Review: To give it its full title “VRkanoid – Brick Breaking Game” is a pretty self-explanatory game. Yes, you are given two tennis bats and need to hit the ball to history all the little cubes, tiles and other things inside the very low-poly playing area. You are given 3 balls to finish the whole level and while the collision detection leaves a lot to be desired to can still get a good rally going once you get the hang of things. Dare I say, it can be fun once you get into it!
With only 17 levels in total and very little in the way of replay value what should have been a cheap little Arkanoid in VR remake turns out to be an overpriced wannabe game that was never going to be worth its own asking price. Sure, there are some different ball and bat textures to unlock, but you probably won’t want to. If you can grab it for a quid or two go for it, but I definitely wouldn’t pay much more than that.
