Description: VR-Xterminator is a VR Indie Arcade Shooter, designed with an artistic Pixel-Style to revive the nostalgic Arcade Hall Experience. While its’ core gameplay is inspired by classic Arcade Games, such as “Centipede”, we translated the game into a modern 360° VR Environment and added innovative VR Motion Control and modernized features.
Review: If you remember and enjoyed playing the classic Atari game Centipede you should enjoy playing VR-Xterminator which is little more than the VR version of that classic game. But its also a nod to other retro games and the whole feel and look is nostalgic from start to finish. I don’t mind these low detailed graphics just so long as the gameplay is good. While the gameplay isn’t terrible here it isn’t all that exciting neither. Its just so…meh! The same boring repetitive wave shooter that has been done a million times before. I just feel £3.99 is a little too much for this game and I will suggest you wait for a sale as half-price or better should counteract the disappointment you will feel about it.
