Description: Although VR is opening numerous new possibilities, the current widely used way of presenting works of art in virtual reality-based exhibitions is not much different from the way of presenting works in physical galleries.
Review: ‘VR Nostalgia 5’ is an interactive art experience in which you can zoom in and out of a 2D painting. While most people will not be interested in this from the off those of us who enjoy art and appreciate seeing it up close might well get a little thrill out of it. It’s not just being able to see the strokes and flow of the art up close, there are also sound effects that do make it a little more realistic (things like a car horn when you look closer at the car). If you REALLY like art this might be worth a look even with the small fee (I do wish it was free so more people might enjoy it), but I do get for most people this is not something to bother with.
