Description: Chomp VR brings the fun of the classic arcade game to virtual reality. In Chomp VR, you are running around in virtual reality trying to eat all of the golden pellets in order to escape the maze. But watch out, there are four colourful ghosts haunting the maze ready to scare the life out of you. Do not fear though, hidden are red power pellets, which when eaten give you the courage to eat even the most colourful of ghosts. This game has been designed for gyroscope enabled phones and requires any VR headset to view the game in VR mode.

Review: For those of us who are old enough to remember him this is Pac-Man who now comes in a virtual reality game that in theory should be amazing with the simplest of graphics! But for legal reasons, we will call him Mac-Pan and he will travel through the maze-like board, trying to run away from virtual spirits that are definitely not ghosts.

While the game (previously called VR Mac-Pan) is not as good as the 2D version it looks great, plays OK and it can feel quite scary when those spirits catch up with you. Sadly some retro games simply won’t transfer into virtual relaity ones and it seems Pac Man is one of them. But if you need a quick retro VR blast you could do far worse than downloading this app. It doesn’t really work, but it’s worth seeing if you love Pacman.
