Review: While visually it is the same as the Gear VR version, VR Karts: Sprint is on the Daydream platform is a little more fun to play thanks to the great use of the Daydream controller as a steering wheel. Pop your controller into a Mario Kart Wii Remote wheel and it will be pretty much the same as Mario Kart Wii! Sure it isn’t quite in the same league as any Mario Kart game on any system, but given that this is playing on a Smartphone, you can’t help but feel impressed with it! Yes, I wish it had more tracks and more in-depth kart customisation, but with a few friends, online this game will give you plenty to have a laugh about. VR Karts: Sprint is well worth its asking price even if you are going to stick to the single player races.
