Description: Experience beautiful cars in immersive Virtual Reality! Your available cars are ready for a virtual test drive 24/7. Potential buyers can examine the car from all angles (360°) before they come in for a physical test drive! Virtual presentations have become enormously popular in the car industry in recent years. Potential buyers value the experience more and more and Virtual Reality experiences are remembered better and longer than looking at printed brochures or static images on a website.

By combining 360-degree photography with a virtual tour, you can experience an optimal and – above all – highly realistic car experience. VR Cars is powered by moBack. With this Virtual Reality, you can experience car content in VR and get your own VR ideas quickly about your car! Download the VR Car app and discover the possibilities.

Review: There is nothing worse than going into a car showroom and being confronted with pushy sales agents who will stop at nothing to sell you a car. That is what VR Car offers. This is a virtual car showroom that lets you inspect one of 2 cars. You get to look around a Hybrid Car and an SUV (there is also a guided showroom walk around to watch). While there is the promise of some supercars to look at none of them seem available at the moment only via a quick walk around with the middle option.

Using the Oculus Remote you can open all the doors and bonnet. Add a few extras like spoilers and alloy wheels and even take the cars out for a test drive! With all sorts of colour options and viewing choices to look at this could well be the way people buy cars in the future. OK, maybe no with this app, but something very similar.

While I do see the potential in a virtual car showroom I think this app is not up to the standard of visuals I would have liked. What this app does have is options and features and really shows off the sorts of things a VR car showroom could offer including a test drive. Would I buy a car from a VR showroom? While I wouldn’t at the moment, I guess we all will one day. Let’s hope that by then the visuals look a lot better than this.
