Review: On the surface ‘VR Balloon Flying over Tokyo and Hokkaido’ is a pretty crap app. It’s a self-controlled flight experience set over a handful of small virtual scenes and it is clearly an asset spinner. But…When it only costs £1.69 you really can’t argue with it. It lets you fly about and generally give you something to take your mind away from things and just get away from it all. I still get that sense of wonder and excitement in a virtual world, never knowing what is around the next corner and this app offers me this. Sure, it’s crap and kind of pointless, but if you want something to show people new to VR this might just do the trick!
