Presentation: The Vive Focus comes in a rather small box, much smaller than other headsets and this is mostly down to it being an all-in-one headset. While the outside box is shiny and black the inside is white and quite frankly rather basic. But everything is neatly packaged and there is a nice image of the headset itself on the folded out box lid.

Review: To be fair to the ‘Vive Focus’ if you compare this to the other VR headsets HTC have made this is a lightweight and very comfortable headset indeed. It’s so easy to unbox, turn on and away you go with very little to set up. However, you do need a smartphone to get access to the apps and control the headset. But that is sadly when this headsets problems start because you soon realise the controller is nothing more than an Oculus Go controller and it is only a 3 DoF as well (but the headset is 6DoF). Also, the lack of storage options with only 32GB of space that is soon taken up with larger games. It’s not a terrible headset I suppose, but the Oculus Go destroys it and then the Oculus Quest come along to stamp it into the ground.
