Review: ‘Virtuoso’ is a music-making app that features a wide range of instruments and features for you to play around with. While you could describe the graphics are basic they really didn’t need to be any better than they are. This app is all about the easy to use UI and while it doesn’t come naturally with a little bit of trial and error I was soon able to work out what everything did. While it doesn’t have as many plugin features as the Steam VR version, the main bulk of the app is still here and more than playable.
Playing around with all the different instruments is fun for sure, but like making music in real life it takes time to master and unless you have the rhythm is music-making inside of you this app isn’t going to put it there. It really is a very enjoyable app, but it doesn’t go far enough to teach those of us without any musical talent and the tutorials leave a lot to be desired. You will either love this app or hate it, but you will also already know if it is right for you before you part with any cash.
