You can choose your appearance from pre-installed models, as well as from models uploaded on 3D model sharing service The Seed Online (currently only available in Japanese).
Review: There are several VR animator programs out there, but most of the good ones do cost a fair-penny to use, but ‘VirtualCast’ is free and dare I say one of the good ones (provided you are willing to knuckle down and get into it). If you need a virtual character for a YouTube video or maybe a presentation you can do a lot worse than use this program. Being free of course also means it does lack a lot of the features and variety that other virtual animator programs have, but if you are just getting started in this area this is well worth a look. No, it’s not the easiest to use, but learning to use this sort of program is often half the fun.
