Description: Virtual Home Theater (VHT) is a media player and desktop mirroring software that simulates the perceived audio and video of a real cinema or home theatre system in virtual space, delivering true 3D spatial audio in VR, replacing the old “head-locked” stereo audio technology.
Review: While ‘Virtual Home Theater’ is a program well above my own understanding, I do kind of like what you can do with it. It allows you to make virtual cinema screens and even adjust where the sound from your own media file might be coming from. I tried in vain to build one myself, but it was far too complex a program. If you have some 3D design knowledge already you might want to give this a go as I am sure someone will find it useful. That person wasn’t mean, but that doesn’t mean I can’t get excited about the possibilities this program offers, even if it does come with a high price tag. I just wish it was easier for us non-3D designers.
