Virtalis ActiveSpace

Our Thoughts: These days of the Oculus Rift and Samsung VR are full of brand names people know and recognise. Virtalis might not be one of those brand names, but they have been making trackable VR headsets for experimental research exercises and military training before everyone who works in Oculus was even born! When it goes to industrial VR headsets they are right up there with Virtual Research and Cyberface. But sadly fo their ego’s no-one will hardly utter their name. The next time you see someone playing with their VR headset (no matter what it looks like, or what company made it) ask them: “Whats this? It looks like a cheap rip-off of the Virtalis ActiveSpace!”

Mostly used for collaborative design jobs it comes as a package with a PC workstation, the VR headset itself, a head and hand tracker plus a handheld navigation device that doesn’t look too dissimilar to what Oculus come up with! Maybe Facebook should have given Virtalis the money instead.
