Review: For those who don’t know ‘Kubb’ is a Swedish lawn game where the objective is to knock over wooden blocks (kubbs) by throwing wooden batons (kastpinnar) at them. This is, of course, a VR simulation of that game and not a terrible one at that. With cartoon Viking themed graphics this is a single-player game moving up through the ranks as well as a multiplayer game. While there isn’t a whole lot of variety here the main game looks good and feels responsive especially with the throwing mechanics. While it is a great game, unless you have at least some interest in playing Kubb this is not going to win you over, but for those who do the small £2.89 price tag is easily justified.
