Review: ‘Venues’ is a virtual social media style app in which you can meet friends and other people in a virtual gig. While most of them are not good timing for anyone outside of the US you can always stay up late and enjoy them. Sadly the app is far from perfect even when I take into account the fact that it is in Beta testing. While it sounds like a stupid thing to say the main thing that ruins my experience with Venues is other people being weird. People jumping in front of you, shouting and just trying to be a nuisance. This app has a long way to go before it is something I can recommend, but the main idea is sound and it works great most of time, but some controls on who you see, hear and interact with are very much needed.
