Review: While ‘Vengeful Rites’ isn’t the biggest RPG style adventure game it does have a lot of heart. While graphically it is not going to blow anyone’s socks off it is the gameplay that this game shines at with melee combat being particularly good and even quite strategic for once. Then there are the gesture-based magic powers which are no just used to kill enemies, you can also remove blockages in your path to adventure. This game has a little bit of everything in it from weapon chanting to telekinesis powers, it all makes the game seem so much bigger than it really is. With 10+ hours of gameplay, this should keep you going for some time and I think it is worth every penny.
