Review: When it comes to VAR: Exterminate there are things I like about it and things I really hate with a passion. I like the graphics most of the time and indeed the action because you can find yourself getting into it in the short term. But what I don’t like is the single-handed shooting and the general lack of variety in the gameplay. Play 1 minutes worth of this game and you will see all the gameplay variety there is to see. In fact, this would have been the same game if you played it on a Gear VR or Oculus Go! But…what this game does have is effort and it is clear a lot of work has indeed gone into it. You will get your money’s worth here quite easily if you are willing to play the same levels over and over. But if you are sick of zombie shooters and hate static position shooters this is not the game for you. I do give this the thumbs up, but it really isn’t going to be for everyone.
