Description: Under Lock is a multiplayer asymmetrical PvP horror game for 5 players (4 survivors versus 1 monster). Take the role of a survivor with the goal to outsmart the monster and escape from lockdown. Or choose one from several unique monsters to hunt down and devour the victims.
Review: When ‘Under Lock’ is at its best it is a pretty great game. It’s an online or co-op only experience in which you play the role of one of 2 killers or one of the 4 present survivors. The idea of the game is to find the keys spread all over the map in random places all the while trying not to get killed or pooing yourself with fear half the time. When there are people to play with its a great laugh, even if the graphics are far too dark and basic for their own good, the gameplay overrides those issues. Sadly there isn’t a vast amount of players and given that it wasn’t released that long also does not bode well for this game at all. If you can get friends to buy it as well it’s worth the money for the laughs you will have, but there are no single-player modes here, so do bear that in mind.
