Review: Under a Desert Sun has a lot going for it I promise you. The music and sand storm style scene really help set the mood and even the monsters are not too bad. I also have to give some credit to the gameplay with a free motion movement, small map gameplay style that really does ramp up the tension as some of the little streets and alleyways are really small making you feel claustrophobic. But it is the guns that really let this game down. They are so weak and some of them hardly seem to work, especially the crossbow. Also, the game just feels unfished and lacks any real polish. But for £2.09 this is still worth a look and while it is little more than yet another wave shooter, it is definitely one of the better ones.
