Review: Ultrawings doesn’t look or feel like a serious flight simulator and it doesn’t quite have the action and fun of an arcade flight game, it’s somewhere in between that leaves fans of each genre feeling empty and wanting a lot more than this game has to offer them. But yet…when you do that first takeoff you feel free and fully immersed you forget about everything. Don’t go into this game with any expectations of what sort of game it is and you will enjoy it. Ultrawings isn’t the Pilotwings we all wanted it to be, but it’s not as dead-pan as a serious flight sim. So is it worth the money? I would say yes. Turn off all those comfort settings and just enjoy a free-flight, only then you will realise how immersive this game can be.
