Description: Trickshot is a VR archery platformer that is a throwback to classic platformers of the 90’s and early 00’s. Trickshot aims to fill a niche in the VR playspace by allowing the player to explore larger environments and experience platforming from a new perspective. Trickshot uses ‘artificial locomotion’ in that you do not teleport around the level and instead navigate in a more traditional way by running and jumping in the first person.

Review: Trickshot is a range of mini-games all of which need you to pull off some sort of trick shot (hence the name!) There are balls to bounce, arrows to shoot and some nice lands to wander about in and explore. OK, so it’s a bit raw around the edges, but it gets the job done most of the time! It’s not a terrible game at all, in fact, I did quite enjoy the exploration of things, especially on the snow level. But there is still no way anyone should be paying £14.99 for this. Even at half that, I would have been telling you to wait for a sale! This is one of those games you will be happy to get in a bundle, but not so much if you rush out and buy it on its own.
