Description: Going for the biggest and fastest VR experience available. Jump, shoot and use a grappling hook at high speed to race against time and collect boss shards to complete the level. Timing and good use of the double jump are key in making the bosses appear across the different worlds.
Review: TRANCE VR is a pretty action-packed game that gives the player a jetpack, a grappling hook and a machine gun and basically told to cause as much chaos in the time limit as you can. While the levels themselves are a little sparse the speed in which you will be playing the game doesn’t leave you a lot of time to look at anything anyway. This is very much like the PSVR game RIGS: Mechanized Combat League, only there are no multiplayer options.
While I did enjoy playing it I do feel £5.59 is asking a bit too much for such a basic game. Yes, it is indeed fun to play, but it also gets repetitive quickly and that means a real lack of replay value. But grab this for a quid or less and you will have a blast (if only for a short amount of time).
