Description: Townsmen VR uses the exciting possibilities of virtual reality to further enhance the classic city building game with entirely new gameplay experiences and interactive mechanics.

Lean back, relax and watch the bustling life of your villagers or actively get involved to speed up processes and move workers and resources directly where they are needed. You are able to seamlessly change between the all-encompassing view of a god and the detailed view of a citizen, able to follow the colourful life of your village. There is a lot to discover! But watch out for the Black Knight’s plundering hordes!

Review: Townsmen VR is a strategy game that plays very much like the game ‘A Handful of Keflings’ in which you play a giant entity with knight gauntlet gloves and you put your people onto the things you want them to do. So chopping wood, mining stone etc, etc. There is also a load of things you can do like spin the windmill, play about with the clouds and make it rain and even go fishing by simply picking up the fish with your hands and cooking them. While graphically the game looks great, it is the lack of depth when it comes to the gameplay that disappoints me the most. There is no reason to play this game for much more than a few hours or so and when it costs £32.99 you are left wondering what you paid for. However, I do still think it is worth a look provided you can grab it in a sale, so do keep an eye out for it. You will have fun playing this, but that fun does not last long at all.
