Description: ThrustWorks is the ultimate jetpack flying and combat game. Armed with a laser and a dynamic jetpack with infinite fuel, soar through 4 unique levels and collect coins, dodge incoming threats and shoot back at enemy turrets. Explore a sci-fi city, jetpack around enemy spaceships in an asteroid field, or kick back and enjoy a day at the beach in both PC and VR modes. VR mode includes hand thrusters with both forward and backwards functionality.
Review: Much like any other Jetpack based game ‘ThrustWorks’ is incredibly nauseating and takes ages to get used to the controls. But if you are willing to knuckle down and learn those said controls and indeed you have a stomach of steel there is a fun little action game here based across 4 works. While 90% of the time the graphics are basic to say the least there are a few moments when you will enjoy them, especially in the city levels as you fly around. While you will start this game thinking the controls are a nightmare they can be quite responsive once you get used to them. Sure, there isn’t a lot of content here, but it’s just fun to fly about and shoot things Iron-Man style. If you have a spare few hours and a lot of patience do give this a look, but keep a sick bag handy as most of us will need it.
