Description: A navigable VR experience of one of the most remarkable areas in Zion National Park, Utah. The Zion Narrows Experience will allow the viewer to navigate above and around some of the most dramatic sandstone formation in the narrows.

Review: If I’m honest, I’m not sure what to make of The Zion Narrows Experience. On the one hand, its got some terrible clipping issues and flat 2D errors that make it look terrible, but then there is some truly beautiful 3D mesh-underlay with 2D images on top that make it look incredible. At times its stunning and the feeling you get with the 3D as you move towards different waypoints is incredible, its like actually being there! And then at other times you will wonder what on earth you are looking at as its a mess of 360 video and 2D images.

At the end of the day, this is a free experience and I do think it’s worth seeing. While I wish they had done a slightly better job with it, it still gives you a great idea of the depth, size and grandness the Zion Narrows which makes it well worth a download. Just ignore the bad parts and you will be blown away.
