Review: ‘The Tavern of Magic’ is an odd bag of genres that is for sure. It’s mostly a magic card-battling game, but it is done in a first-person action style which is quite a good way to do it. Sadly this is mostly an online game and I say sadly because that side of things is pretty much dead. While you can play this game with bots they are pretty stupid and there just isn’t enough content here to make it worth playing for the single-player alone. The good news is I do like this game and I think it looks good, but you will need to play this with friends and getting friends to pay-out £15.49 for this will not be easy.
