Review: For those who don’t know who the “Professor” is he is an American streetball player (basketball) and is said to be one of the best players of his generation. Whether you have heard of him before or not, this free app gives you the chance to train with him and show him what your “streetball” skills are like.
From “wobbling” to “Dribbling”, this app teaches you how to do it all with the Oculus Touch controls. To be honest it feels pretty real at times and you never really feel out of control. “The Professor” will guide you through all the moves and then asked you to copy his moves. The good news is there are guides to each part of the combo meaning you never get lost in what to do next.
For a free little app, this is pretty good. The 360 video featuring the professor was not up to a level I would have liked, but for a fan of the “The Professor”, it would be just like meeting the man himself. Sure, it is only going to appeal to basketball/streetball fans, but for those people who like that sort of thing, this is sure to make them happy if only for a little while.
