Review: I wouldn’t like to guess how many zombie shooters there are for our VR headsets, all I really know is that it is a lot with some big-name titles leading the pack. Sadly ‘The Living Remain’ isn’t one of those big titles, yet it still manages to offer a pretty decent game for an OK price. There is nothing original here to talk about, you kill zombies, move to the next area and there are a few other things like buttons and switches to interact with, but nothing worthy of note.
Maybe I am coming across as a little harsh here because the game does look good and there is enough content to justify the asking price. But these days with games like Saints & Sinners you expect more from your zombie action games and this simply doesn’t offer anything new. If you like the genre you will probably enjoy this. Just don’t expect originality or innovation.
