Review: There are a few good golf games for our VR headsets these days and I would count ‘The Golf Club VR’ as one of the better ones. It’s not like Tiger Woods PGA good, but its still a pretty great looking golf game with quite a lot of options. But it is the playability that wins here and the swinging mechanism feels awesome in VR. While it does lack any multiplayer options you will still have a great time on your own. Sadly it is not flawless and some things will frustrate you. While graphically it is OK, the lack of smaller details and some sound effects really break the immersion of the game. But it is the £7.19 price for the basic game that really kills off my recommendation of it. Or you can have the design features for £24.90! There is just no way to justify that asking price and I certainly wouldn’t pay any more than a fiver for this. But it is worth picking up I promise.
