Review: Played on your own The Forest is a hard slog of a survival adventure game and not easy at all. But with time and patience, you will do well. This is a game that needs commitment and effort to get the most out of. But playing with friends is where you will get your money’s worth here. It doesn’t matter really what way you play this game, it looks great, there is more than enough content to keep you going for 50+ hours and that is without seeing another sole playing. It is clear to me that VR is more of an afterthought for this game and so it’s incredibly nauseating. But it’s still a grand adventure that is worth your money, provided you give it all your time.
