Description: After the difficulty in the exploitation of the petrochemical resources, the human beings developed the solar energy, and developed the solar engine–Helios and the robot based on this design–Phaethon. In order to deprive more of the ground to build solar energy mining devices, Mr.Kreimir creates an unprecedented tactical system – Talos, Talos can quickly imitate, learn and analyze the behaviour of the opponent, in order to achieve the purpose of rapid occupation of resources, exploitation and protection. In order to compete for more resources and territories, conflicts broke out. Although the Convention did not use nuclear bombs during the war, all countries turned their Phaethon into the semi-automatic military type and entered the war. The ongoing war led to Talos’s internal artificial intelligence that wanted to keep a permanent guard and exploitation of the resources, so that human beings should be cleaned up, so Talos was constantly sending out robots–Golem, to destroy humans.
Review: Talos VR is one of those games that looks a lot more exciting in its trailer than it actually is. It looks like you drive around in a beach buggy with loads of weapons attached killing enemy robots. While the last part is true you don’t really have any control over where you drive because this is an on-rails shooter. The targeting of the guns is done via head movements which is more annoying when you can only control the guns fire with motion controllers! I mean, why not use them to the full extent and give us control of the car as well. But then again I draw your eyes to the low £2.09 price tag and ask what you might have expected for that price? Its not a terrible game at all, but it not what most people will be expecting.
