Description: SYREN is a story about a scientist obsessed with eugenics who conducts horrific experiments in an attempt to recreate the lost species of ‘Syrens’. But now, the experiments have gotten loose. EPISODE 1: You awaken into chaos, a lab in ruins; creaking under the pressure of the sea. Systems are failing everywhere. Something is down here with you…With the station reactor about to go critical, you have to evacuate the lab and save yourself.
Review: SYREN is the perfect VR horror game. Just the sound of one of these Syrens sends shivers down your spine and causes you to panic and look all around you quickly. Like any other good sci-fi horror film, it draws you in and makes you fight for your very survival. In fact, I would love to see this made into a film! SYREN does all it needs to deliver an action-packed, scray game with some great graphics and an interesting storyline that I got engrossed in.
While the game is far from perfect especially when it comes to the controls it is well worth its asking price even if the two chapters that you currently get are small in length. For a short while, you will become fully immersed in the story and feel you are fighting for your very life every moment of it. Well worth a download and I just hope there are lots more chapters to come.
