Review: Let’s face it, there are far too many zombie shooters on the VR platforms. Some of them are great games with great graphics and tons of gameplay! And many others are from new developers, they have loads of potential but are ultimately crap. Survive Zombies is the latter, it’s a pretty basic zombie shooter that sees you trying to survive for as long as you can in an open children’s playground. At first, I have to admit I did have a lot of fun and even the odd jump scare that got my heart beating, but I soon got bored of it and realised that it was only one level and one gun which simply wasn’t going to justify the high asking price. Maybe in the future, more levels and more guns will be added to it to make it even better. To be fair to Survive Zombies it does look OK and the gore of the exploding zombies is strangely satisfying. If you see this in a sale for £1 maybe give it a go if you really enjoy zombie shooters, but otherwise, it is best avoided, especially at its current asking point.
