All you need is a gear headset a simple tap to start your journey and go straight ahead.
Review: If you love retro video games, Street Champ VR will be right up your street. It’s a version of the arcade and home console classic Frogger only this time the graphics are cartoon-style 3D and it is done in VR. The idea is you move from lane to lane trying to get across as many lanes of traffic as you can. It’s good, clean arcade fun.
Whether it was done on purpose or not, the games use of flatter faces busses and trucks makes this game so much more terrifying than it normally would. Only being able to go forward is a real challenge and one that is best played with family and friends as you pass it between them, trying to beat each other’s score. Then, if you are really good you will get onto the top 10 world leaderboard.
Not only is Street Champ VR worth the money, it is also the best VR frogger game I have played (and to be fair I have played 5 others). At times it is utterly terrifying and your heart will be going faster than some of the traffic does. Not all retro game work in VR, but frogger does and Street Champ VR is the very best example of it.
