Description: Fly, swing and soar through a beautiful and deadly universe in a new kind of VR platforming experience. Using the Fling Engine – a propulsion mechanic designed for totally comfortable movement in VR – you will soar too high, fly too fast, and die way too much. Will you master the STRAYLIGHT?
Review: While it is not the easiest of games to learn ‘Straylight’ can be a great game if you are willing to give it a chance. In fact, it is quite a challenge to get tough the game. The main game is a racing game of sorts in which you have to use a laser-beam grappling gun to swing yourself from point to point as fast as you all the while avoiding any obstacles. There is also the fear of floating off into space if you miss a grappling point. While this does mean it is quite nauseating I still got into the “rhythm” of the game and played for a good while. I don’t feel the quality is here to fully justify the current £15.49 asking price, but for half that or less I would definitely give it a go.
