Description: STRANGER is a Single-player Survival Thriller Horror Game. Choose your house and difficulty, or customize your own. Then survive until dawn. Uncover mysterious truths about the STRANGER. Play on PC Version or VR Version
Review: The idea of ‘STRANGER’ is pretty simple. All you have to do is stop a stranger from getting into your house and attacking you. There are doors and windows to lock, lights to turn on and other things to constantly do to survive the night. The game does look OK I suppose, but the audio was not up to much at all and there were times when it seemed there was no sound when there should have been. Sadly the “stranger” himself isn’t all that scary, but little ones might jump at it.
At the end of the day, it is the price that lets this game down the most. There are far better horror experiences out there that are cheaper, or even free in many cases. The game certainly isn’t bad and would be great for a Halloween VR party, but the price suggests it is far more original and scarier than it currently is. If you can get it in a sale you might be happy (which it was at time of review, but only -10%) then you might enjoy it more than I did, but for now, I won’t be recommending it.
