Description: Straight on Eight VR is a Skeet simulation game with the focus on keeping muscle and eye movement memory while in between practice sessions or tournaments. There are 3 different modes to play with. Training Mode: Show hold points, Target Lead, and where you missed relative to the target. Practice Mode: Move freely from station to station and shoot as much as you want. Tournament Mode: Compete in a 100 target tournament for a class ranking with tournament specific rules.
Review: The good news is ‘STRAIGHT ON 8’ is far from being the worse Skeet shooter I have played so far. In fact, given the small £1.69 its pretty good! The graphics look OK and playing with my Oculus Touch controllers it felt OK to play as well and just as responsive as I would want it to be. While it does tend to chuck you into the deep-end, for the price it seems accurate enough and responsive enough to recommend. Sure, you only just about get your money’s worth there, but if you fancy a bit of skeet shooting without paying out more for a better game this is well worth a look. Just keep in mind the small price you are paying.
