Review: I have to say I am surprised there aren’t more good tank games for our VR headsets, but the good news is, along comes ‘Steel Crew’ to fill the gap. This is an online-only multiplayer tank battle with no single-player options at all, but at least (for the moment anyway) there are enough players to make it worth playing. You don’t even have to have a VR headset to play it which means it does have cross-play options. With its OK graphics and simplistic gameplay, you can find yourself getting into this game quite easily, but the lack of single-player options and local multiplayer mode will put a lot of people off, especially once the online community starts to die off. But for now, you can have a laugh and get your money’s worth here, but I don’t see that lasting for long, in fact, even now there are moments when there is no one else to play against, so take that as a sparse warning.
